Basso Fior di loto?
Can anyone help me out with any info on this bike? (i'm not sure i chose the right catagory but here goes anyways) All I know for sure is the brand - Basso, model name - Fior di loto, and it has a columbus slx sticker on it. I got it recently and had to take some rust off and polish up a couple spots... was worried at first but, now i'm enjoying it. It rides nice though and I'd like to know more!
Thanks in advance

Very nice bike !
I have two loto's, from 92 and 96. The oldest is made from SLX. Heavy, but a very sweet ride. Tracks very solidly through high speed corners and is comfortable on long rides. Nice gruppo on yours, mine have full DA 8 speed.

Yeah, those brakes are worth a small fortune.
Also, a very safe bike to ride in traffic. It looks so loud that it even drivers who aren't paying attention will see it.

Thanks, do you guys happen to know the year of the bike and what gruppo this is? I looked in some older campy catalogs but couldn't find the parts.

looks like '91 Chorus, from what I can see. The shifters look like retrofrictions, which would make them Record, the seatpost and headset are something else altogether. What are the hubs?

All I can say fer sure is early 90's. I'm looking at a '91 campy catalog that has the group, but it may be a little earlier, or a little later, and you can't be certain that the group came with the bike (although it most probably did...).
