Thompson Bottom Bracket Cranks
Hey, I have a 1960s Executive three-speed (converted to fixed) with a Thompson bottom bracket and just accidentally cross-threaded the left side of my crank. I was wondering if anyone here happens to have a crankset (or even just the left crank) lying around that would be compatible. (I checked all the LBSes and they basically told me it's going to be a difficult find.)
If you have one you'd be willing to sell or know where I could find one, it would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Jeff

You might be able to take it to a local machine shop and have them insert a Heli-Coil (threadsaver type thing). Or could do it yourself if you have access to a drill press.
Good luck.
