bianchi racing bike

hi, i picked up a bianchi bike at a garage sale

i was wondering if anyone knows what it is worth

the frame is made of high manganese steel and made with oji original frame tubes

the shifters are Suntour

there is "piaggio" sticker on frame

colour is dark blue

what I suggest you do is search ebay for completed auctions, first Bianchi then Piaggio.

thanks for getting my picture to appear - how did you do it?

i looked at ebay - there are a lot of different bianchi

i don't think this bike is worth that much

it doesn't have compagnalo parts

there were some bikes sold for $200 - $300 but they look different and i think they were made in italy

this bike i believe was made in japan

the deraillours are suntour which is not worth much

this bike is quite heavy also

I concur with your assessment, mlim123. However, it is probably a superb bike for general recreation and transportation, and it should handle much better than most of the other bikes in this price class.

I bought a very similar bike to this (Bianchi Piaggio) in Minneapolis in 1990 for my lovely wife. We spent $200. It was a great bike and fun to ride, but I don't think it is worth a bunch of money.

Depends on where you live. Probably would've fetched $150 in clean condition here in the SF area.
