Brake levers for a Nitto 25.4 Radonneur bar?
Just curious what will work... the original DiaComp's on the bike slip fairly easily with any amount of effort. I'm not sure of the brake clamp diameter of the bar or the brake levers themselves. The bar is for a 25.4 stem clamp though if that tells you anything, and the original bar appeared to be 25.4 as well which leaves me a little baffled as to why the original brake levers wouldn't work, unless the original bar was actually slightly fatter? Any help is appreciated.

take an old innertube and talc it up real good and slide it onto the handle bars, clamp over that. provides extra padding too.

Tried that, just rolled the tube with it. I wouldn't mind getting some new levers like some decent Shimano ones, but not sure what I need to get as far as a clamp diameter is concerned.
