Vintage Raleigh Chiltern

I have an old chiltern from the 80s and was curious if anyone could tell me a bit about it.
I acquired it from a guy who brought it over from england. And according to the rear hub, i'm dating it in the 80s.

does it have a serial number under the bottom bracket?

my 1988 531c does, and it fits the description of an 80s model serial#
