what model/year bike do i have?

i recently inherited a peugeot road bike, and was wondering if anyone could help me identify it. it was made in france, has shimano sis drivetrain, brakes, and levers. reynolds 501 tubing, decal that says same. decal on rear stay says made in france. tt decal says 12 speeds vitesses. adjustment screws in rear drops, cta stem and bar, and rim decals are faded, but front looks like "rigida". but the hubs are millard, so i can only assume rims are probably the same. finally serial # on bb is y71243940. any help would be appriciated. thanks.

well someone can probably decode that serial number for an exact date, but I can say that Rigida is a rim manufacturer, and Maillard a hub manufacturer.

If the drivetrain is original (it sounds like it) then it's 1984 at the youngest. What level of shimano components are they?
