I actually got it roadworthy today. also the bottom of the bike is stamped 5968.
my dad bought it when he was in 9th grade. so its maybe 25-30 yrs old.

Falcon is old Shimano gear. Not sure what vintage that makes it. What do the stickers on the forks have on them? A logo or are those recent additions?

Looks pretty. Post a closeup of that crankset.

Do ya happen to drive a Porsche 944 by any chance? I'm in love with those cars.

Crankset and headset/stem.
First guess, looking at the cable routing, what I can see of the headset, the Barillia brakes, the dropouts, and the spoke guard I'd say lower tier Atala. They came with Simplex Prestige DRs, which would have been replaced on any bike ridden regularly over the past 35 years or so.(I replaced the ones on my Atala in '74/'75 ot thereabouts).
