mo mo peugeot!!

Just got a new one (a replacement for my 1989 alpine that was stolen and trashed). I believe it to be early 80's or late 70's. The serial number is illegible. The frame is metallix blue with checkered flag on the top tube and a two tone chrome/blue fork. If you know anything thanks for you help!

Pictures, component list, and/or serial number would help. Checkered flag on the top tube rules out early 1970s, so you may be right about the circa 1980 estimate. Does the frame have visible lugwork? Does the right rear dropout have an integral derailleur tab?
