You missed the fact that this bike is a testament to a historic moment in cycling history, in which two notoriously competitive parts manufacturers put aside their differences in order to produce the superb 'shimano/sun-tour derailleur' just for this bike!

I'm assuming the bike would be worth a lot more without the paint? If so, the painter did somebody a favor, let 'em get a nice bike for cheap. A little elbow grease and paint remove and you're off.

Spray paint is easy to strip, for small parts brake cleaner works well.

ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Talk about the anti-framework of a Confente.

Mario should rightfully rise from the grave and strip those decals off that mess.

Vintage Italian Atala Road Bike - $120

Someone loves flat black.
I've revised the ad....

"But dude! It's all stealth! It's a custom paint job! It's sick! It appeals to my minimalist aesthetic! It's a zen bike! It was destined for the trash heap until I rescued it! Did I mention that it's custom? And vintage? Dude, it rocks! Prime candidate to rock some matching Deep Vs and a budget conversion! Hammer off the derailleurs, shorten the chain and you're ready to rock! Did I mention that it's custom? Hit me up!"

Schwinn Spoiler dreamer. Doesn't even know what it is, and asking only $100 more than they went for on clearance. Last time I checked a few years ago, the going rate was around $500 for nice used examples. I don't think they've gone up in value quite yet. Aside from being pretty cool, they were impractical as all get out.,,,,BD
