looking for BERTIN decals
 

i may start a project on old bertin 531, dose any one have a link/idea if and were can i find decals ?

Good luck! I also have an old Bertin in need of decals. Mine is constructed of Durifort tubing, with campy dropouts, army green, with decals that looks somewhat metalic or metal foil like, (shiny background). Let me know if you can find any decal souce for these!!! Thanks - ew

I started working on a set for a customer last year, but I was stymied by lack of acceptable reference images of the headtube decal. There were two different styles, and to this day I haven't been able to find decent pictures of either. The downtube and toptube decals are done though.

I could probably send you a pic of the headtube decal, if you are patient (I will not be near the bike again until christmas vacation). But on the other hand, I have been patient about those Raleigh Lenton Gran Prix layouts you were going to send,,,,,,:) ew

I have a xerox of a product sheet that has the line art for the headbadge, a flying winged thing as I recall. I'll dig it out and post a scan when I have time.

I have a Bertin, in the 70's they only had headbadges made of alloy sheet, with a fiol world chanp stripe underneath, some had "chevrons" on top of the fork crown and seat tube stickers, again silver foil with screening. Various "field" colors depending on model and color.

Sorry, I just looked, didn't find the Bertin thing I was thinking of.

This is the one I'm after. This is the best picture available and I just can't resolve the detail in the wings no matter how I tweak the image.
