Koga FullPro-A & Aero Miyata

Dear classic bike fellows,

Recently as true passionate I had the opportunity to visit the Koga Miyata factory in Heerenveen and check out their museum. They had about 10 classics, about 7 of them roadrace models & 3 touring bikes. I encountered really nice stuff overthere, for example one bike I didn't knew and seemed to have a lot resemblance with the Aero Miyata. Too bad I had no camera with me ..BUT I already sourced the original catalogue pic & specs (thanks Henk ).

I thought I share it with you. 1st the 2 pics of the Koga Miyata FullPro-A and secondly 2 pics of the Aero Miyata:

The 'A' in FullPro-A denotes Aero. This FullPro-A is of the 1985 modelyear.

These two Aero Miyata pics are stolen of a Japanese auction site (for those interested: It is still up! => HERE, but seller will not ship internationally ):

That FullPro-A is one of the most beautiful bikes I've seen! Have you ever seen one not in the factory?

Judging by the wonderful things Elev has sold the last few years I would not be suprised to see one in his living room.

No, not one in my living room. So far I have encountered one on pics of a bike display held in Holland every year and if I recall correctly two in our own BF aerodynamic bike topic. Its predecessor had many aero influences, but a traditional lugged construction: the '81 FullPro-L. I do have that one, but not in my living room Nowadays all catalogues are available through the Koga website, so you could view all line ups in detail.

there is this: https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

too bad about the ridiculous price and the god awful dent. i could be way off, but i would expect this bike (minus the dent) to bring somewhere in the $1000 range. given the dent, i'd be shocked if anyone bought this for even $500. it has been listed and relisted a half dozen times with the same asking price over and over, guess he doesn't want to sell.

ps. i personally would love to own this bike

Yes, it's an amazing bike too, but as you said, that dent! I couldn't believe the price when I saw that.
