winter project atala

hello all

I just want to share my finished winter project. The frame I got off a trade with an old vitus 979 (was a little small on me anyway). the before pics speaks for itself, so instead of touching up the areas I end up stripping the entire frame and fork. and rattle canned the frame ( primer / paint / gloss coat ) I was able to save the original decals. After scanning and cleaning up the image file I was able to have them recut at a vinyl decal cutter. the frame had some rust issue but after a good clean up it was not too bad.

all the parts are stuff I had laying around expect for the rear derrailler, what the hey 20 buck off ebay a campy trimophe. and I did buy new cable housing for the rear brakes. (all I had was black one laying around it would not have looked too good).

right now I am debating should I keep it or ebay it off come spring. (after a couple of more rides)
