Since you're not far from SF...may I suggest Don Raffas Cyclery on 16th Street & Mission. One of the last 'hidden treasure' LBS's. Don still thinks vintage Campy is just old parts....and sells stuff at happy prices. I was just in there..he's got: Newish Chorus brakset: $40; Centaur Ergo levers/shifters $60; Chorus cranks $40; Nuovo shifters $10; Cinelli bars $15; Brooks Pro saddles $50...... The secret password is: 'Por favor Campagnolo'....and Don will bring out a big box and then talk to you in Spanish.

""Oh NOoooo, you let the cat out of the bag...now we have to kill you""
eh....I figure that since Raffa's same Campy inventory has been there for quite a while now... that a few cats can have at it. (and I already got all the really good stuff )

UPDATE: Starting to come together. Still need to remove the old BB and headset, put in the NR BB and generic (for now, at least) headset. From there, I still need to work on fitting the bike - it's a little big for me and the stem I want to use is 110mm long. Once the fit is dialed in, I'll put yellow hoods and bar tape on, and get all of the cabling set up (yellow housing). Thanks to cyclotoine for all of your help with the build - ended up getting front and rear derailleurs, brakes and levers, shifters, and seatpost from him.
Also, if someone could enlighten me on the use of a two-bolt seatpost, I'd be much obliged. I sorta get it, but it seems like I'm missing something.

If you need to re-adjust, tightening the front bolt will bring the nose down while loosening it will raise the nose up.

A Record or SR headset shouldn't set you back much. Neither should a seat post. Really nice bike. PM me if a 90mm Cinelli 26.4 mm clamp 1A stem is on your wishlist.

Yeah, I got a little excited (and irritated that the hoods weren't here yet) and just built it. Guess I'll muscle 'em on while the levers are still mounted...
Also, thanks to cyclotoine, trons, M-theory, and auk for all of their help in trades/sales. Couldn't've done it without you guys!

The bike looks great, but I have to ask what kind of glue you used on your tubulars, because it looks like silicone glue from your pics, but I'm sure it isn't. Right?

Does that NR rear derailleur work OK with those Synchro shifters?
Looks nice otherwise. Just decals & hoods huh? I might toss on some yellow pin-stripe tires and change that stem to an older 3T or Cinelli XA....but that's me.
Now you just have to take off the Campy NR components & get an era-correct Campagnolo C-record Group and you're all set

Hey - beautiful bike!
One thing - beware of using the wrong type ferrule at the front end of your rear derailleur cable run. You need a stepped ferrule to keep the cable from having... potentially serious issues! Any decent LBS wil have some.
Believe me I learned the hard way . Congrats on the build.

No prob. BB keeps coming loose, so I'm gonna blue LocTite it later today, then I can get a real ride in on it (the mile-ish from the LBS to my house doesn't count).
