Old Cannondale thoughts

I have recently added a 1990 R400 cannondale to my bike list it's in clean shape with limited wear anyone have any thoughts on what these bike were considered when they first came out

Yeah when Cannondales first came out, they were eye candy!

I didn't get mine 'till '86 though. An SM700 Mtn bike. 26" front/24" rear wheels.
Still have it.

Love that bike.
