Lugged Stumpjumper Seatpost size?

Anyone know offhand what size of seatpost fits a lugged Stumpy? I just picked up one and the post that was with wasn't the right size. Thanks,

brent

I'd guess 26.8 since that what Sheldon's data base gives for the '90 Stump, but an early '87 Rockhop takes 26.4...since we're just guessing, how about you tell us what was in it and if it was too big or too small, we love hints.
