does anybody know ir Bar end shifters work with a Riv priest bar?

I'm bidding on one, and I'm afraid that I'm going to end up with too many parts. AAAAH, th horror!

Take a look at the Q/A on the auction; seller says they won't take bar ends.

yeah, he said that it does not appear to take bar ends, but I was hoping that someone definitely knew. I should let them pass, and buy something that I know will work.

With a few simple tools you can fit bar ends to any 7/8" bar.
