Stem size on a '84 Trek (it won't fit!)
Ok, I'm puzzled. According to vintagetrek.com my 1984 trek 560 needs a standard 22.2 quill stem. The question is, why won't my cinelli oyster fit? It's just too big.
Here's a link to the oyster: https://www.peterwhitecycles.com/stems.asp
By the way, the stem i'm interested in replacing is the stock SR that came with the bike.
