Kewl! My bike is on it's way to Switzerland!

I just sold one of my Mt Whitneys on ebay to a collector in Zurich where it will go on display in his vintage mountain bike museum/shop, Cycle Shark!

Who says Ross' don't get no respect?
<that was you Dave>
Oh yeah, nevermind. Some do!

You priced it too low! It's a beautiful bike, and just my size. If I had had the funds...but then, I'd be afraid to ride it. Glad it's going to a museum. It deserves a pampered life.

By the way, very nice photos. Those aren't endangered flowers you're riding through, are they?

Haha... yeah it did sell awfully quick. But it went for more that any other MWs I've seen in the last year and I did very well on my investment, so I'm happy. Besides it didn't fit me and my other one does. And the other one is in even better condition if you can believe that (see mw in my sig). Aaaand just to mess with your head even more, I ride it off-road regularly! (It belonged to a close lady friend and I can never part with it so I might as well enjoy it) :-)

Thanks, photography is another hobby of mine. It makes all the difference when selling. The flowers aren't endangered, just our State Wildflower. Oops!

Is there a connection between those two websites, or are you just pissing on my parade?

I am not really into mountain bikes, but that is really a looker! I am glad it is going to be preserved, too.

Let's just say it wasn't anywhere near what he paid for THIS one.
