Can anyone identify this old Schwinn?

I bought a 68cm frame from someone. I believe it's a 70s or 80s era Schwinn, but I don't know exactly.

I took a bunch more pictures and posted them to the following web page

If there's some kind of marker number let me know.

I can't be definitive, those people will be along shortly... However Chrome moly lugged frame and stamped drop outs makes me think 80's LeTour.

I believe Little Darwin has got it, it's likely an '83 le tour luxe frame, and it appears to be 27" in size (they were available in 19, 21, 23, 25, and 27 inch sizes). Does the black and gold tubing decal say "4130 chromoly main tubes and stays?" If so, it's pretty much got to be an '83 le tour luxe because that was the only year they came with the stamped dropouts with a full chromoly frame. The '83 Traveler had a similar decal, but it said "4130 chromoly main tubes," so it wasn't full chromoly. Look on the headbadge for four small stamped digits, the first three will represent the numerical day of the year and the last digit will be for the last digit of the year. This will be when the bike was assembled at the factory. These bikes were almost certainly built in Greenville, Miss. The '83 le tour luxe was available in dark blue or dark grey, my guess is that yours is dark grey. The '83 le tour shared the same frame specs as the le tour luxe I believe, but came in black or sandpiper that year.

I've owned my '83 le tour luxe since it was a year old, they're great frames; bombproof and yet not too heavy-

edit: I see the tubing decal now, "4130 chromoly main tubes and stays." It's an '83 le tour luxe, dark grey, 27" frame size.

edit #2: If you wouldn't mind posting it, I'd be interested in knowing the four digit date code on the headbadge and the first three digits of the serial number, which will be on the left rear dropout-

I think Darwin and well biked have it pegged. Look for four lightly stamped digits on the headbadge. The last of the four digits is the year, the first three digits are the Julian day of the year (2313 would be the 231st day of 1983). This represents the assembly date.

EDIT- Oops! I see well biked already explained that...
