Canadian Peugeot questions for T-Mar/Randy/others?

I acquired this Peugeot PB-9 yesterday for cheap:

Seems like an OKAY bike, as in it has a strange mix of frame and componentry:

*Ishiwata Cromo frame with forged drops and adjuster pins
*Maillard 700c rims with front Maillard hub and steel (yes, chromed steel) unidentified Japanese rear freewheel hub
*Shimano 6 speed indexed Light Action downtube shifting with "SIS" rear derailleur, though this appears to be, at least cosmetically, the same as the Shimano derailleurs that actually say "Light Action" on them
*Sakae SA alloy double crank with steel rings
*YST headset
*Chang Star sidepulls, similar in appearance to Dia Compes of an earlier age

Has made in Canada sticker on the bottom of the seat tube and also a "PLF - Pro Cycle Laser Finish" sticker on the top tube
Maillard front hub dates to 40 88, which I assume is the 40th week of 1988.

Where did this model sit in the Canadian Peugeot lineup? Any catalogues from this era available to view online anywhere?

The graphics and Light Action derailleurs are in sync with the hub dates. I'd say this is 1988-1989. I don't have the Canadian catalogs for this period but do have some US ones. Suprisingly Light Action, Chang-Star, Maillard hubs, SA cranks and a chrome steel headset do appear as the OEM mix on the 2nd from the bottom of the line in 1988. The disprepancy is the 700C wheelset, which started 3rd from the bottom but got Dia-Compe brakes. The discrepany may also indicate a 1989 model as those hub dates are pretty late in the year, but still it's probably around 2nd or 3rd from the bottom.
