    Pinto National?

There is an empty lot near my apt that has a fairly rusty Pinto National. The lugging on this thing is pretty nice. Anyone have any details about this bike? I'll probably end up buying it for the $2 they are asking. The frame alone is beautiful with the tip of the forks chromed.

    Thanks all.

Mel Pinto was a major importer of bikes in the early 1970s, and National was one of Matsush_ta's marques, along with Panasonic and Technics. That's all I know.

John E. thanks for the heads up! I think I'm gonna go pick it up tomorrow morning. I'll post pics too. Cheers!
