Catch of the day?
So you find a good deal on a bike at a swap, garagesale, craigs or other. The bike doesn't fit you. What do you do with the bike? Sell it?, pass it on?, part it?, donate it?, swap it?, hoard it?

For bikes that don't fit me, I have bought bikes at a good price to flip, then given them away instead. I have also parted out bikes, and donated a couple. Sometimes I hoarded them for a while before I decided to clear space in one of the above ways.

I keep telling myself that I'm going to flip all the frames I don't need as soon as I move to a city with a better market. Until then, I'm hoarding. Of course, if you're already in a good market, I'd recommend either parting out or reselling frames that don't fit you.
...speaking of, there's been an RB2 advertised in the local paper here for about three weeks now, priced at $200 that I'm really tempted to pick up, even though 56cm is too big for me. I'm constraining myself by constantly thinking about having more stuff to pack up and transport when I move.

+1 to all of the above.
Having just moved from the Bay Area, one of the things I miss the most is the access to buying and selling bikes on CL. It seemed like a never ending supply of bikes for sale and buyers who wanted them.

Yeah, I have a shed and yard full of misc. bikes from all the above. Eventually, I'll strip the lower end stuff to make a bike or two that runs then sell it for a few bucks. However, I can't seem to part with the Schwinns, or my steel Roadie, or my ParkPre MTB, or.............

Recieved this back today after finding a deserving enthusiast....
Thanks again for letting me take that 3-speed. Not only was a worthy old machine saved from the dumpster, but it's become my main ride.
Turns out it was Raleigh-built, but not Raleigh-branded. Huffy imported these as the "Huffy Sportsman."
Since the paint was shot, I stripped it with Jasco, then sanded it and took it to the auto body shop around the corner. They shot it with shiny black for $40.
I had a black Raleigh chainguard and bought a new seat. All the other components except for the brake and shift cables are from the original bike.
Took it out on a tour around Bay Farm Island today and it handles like thought into motion.
Here's a photo of it after fixing up:
