Alan (Aluminum/anodized) Frame Question

Does anyone know the correct seat post size for an Alan frame, early 1990s era.
The outside dia of the seat tube is 29.9mm.

I don't remember the exact dimension, maybe 25.0, but Alan's had an oddball sized seatpost. I used to have a 1980 Alan I miss now- Last time I did a web search I got hits for seatposts because of the odd size.

According to Sheldon Brown's seatpost database, it's 25mm for a '75 and '76, but doesn't list a '90s size. Try a 25mm and see how it goes.

An ALAN I have from '92 takes a 27.2. The old ones used a 25.0.
