Brake levers
I can't find a set of cantilever levers for my Specialized Stuntjumper..... Anyone know where I can go? I just need levers, no shifters and such

any type of lever should work. I'd suggest you try ebay, also post in the WTB/ISO thread.

V-brake levers do work. Some people actually prefer them to use with canti brakes because you get such a positive response to the brake pull. But some do not like that modulation is deadened somewhat. In my experience, the impact of this highly dependent on the overall set up. I have at least one bike where this feels great, and a couple more that really never felt good so I tinkered and tinkered and then switched to canti levers.
Canti levers are not hard to find. Ebay is awash with them. Your LBS probably has a few pairs back there. And keep in mind that BMX levers are usually intended for non-V's, so they work too.
Also, I just discovered Avid speed-dials. They allow one to easily adjust the amount of cable pull at the lever with no tools. I do not know how well they work over the long-haul. But so far they are fabulous, and I expect they will do just fine. Dare I say, the best MTB brake levers I have ever used.

If it turns out the Avids you have don't work for you, I have a pair of DiaCompe Advantage S levers I'd be willing to part with.
