Need Info on this bike
Hello all
I recently bought this bicycle and need help in identifying it. I hope some of you might be able to help me with a little history and possibly when this bike ccame out. I know it's a B.F. Goodrich made by Schwinn and I think it has a skip tooth type sprocket. It also has some sort of key hole to lock the handlebars up. I have attached some pics of it and hope this helps you to help me. Thank you in advance.

Your bike looks like a pre-war Ladies' model, but may be from the mid-forties. The immediate post-war bikes were similar to the pre-war models since Schwinn converted the factory to making war materials between 1942 and 1945 (and was awarded the War Department "E" award), and didn't change the model line-up until after the war was over. For comparison, here's the 1940 Ladies' DeLuxe:

WOW!! Thank you very much Stan. Was it in the 60's that Schwinn stopped making bikes for B.F. Goodrich with the B.F. Goodrich name plate on it? Once again thank you very much.
