Toeclips for Maillard 700 pedals--looking for leads

I recently mangled the toeclips on my 1984 Peugeot PX10 or PRO10, and am looking for replacements.

According to a catalog page I found, this bike came with Maillard 700 pedals. The pedals are marked Maillard CXC but I haven't found any identifying marks on the toeclips. The strap is Christophe but as I recall, the toeclips aren't.

The toeclip design is apparently unique: As you can see in the photo, instead of a plate that attaches to the leading edge of the pedal with a couple of bolts, it has a straight tongue that extends back under the foot. If these are sized, I would think they're size medium.

If you have a pair, or know of a source, please let me know.

I have those exact pedals, but mine have rubbery kinds of straps, not the leather Christophes. Until now, I had never seen another pair like them. With that in mind, I can't help you with getting some. Good luck on your quest...

The reason why we're the only two with these pedals

People named 'Leigh' (that's my name, too) are inclined to buy odd stuff, I guess. :-/

eBay as a source

There are some Campy ones on eBay now that look as if they'd fit, but the tongue seems shorter. I'm going to try to get a measure from the seller to see if it's long enough to work.
