Centurion!

Hello all,

I'm pretty new to commuting and cycling in general, been doing it for about a month and a half. I've been riding a Giant-Boulder mtb, but a friend of mine just gave an old road bike! It's a Centurion Cavaletto, 10-speed. I gotta tell ya, I know it's only a 10-speed but the difference is amazing! I feel like I'm going so much faster. Anyway, I'll post some pics soon 'cause I have some questions about getting repairs done. Just thought I'd let you all know!

Also went from a mtn bike to a centurion dave scott model. Its a 14 speed but also a great change. This cycle stuff gets adictive, now I go to Goodwill to look at bikes. Found a like new 3 speed for $10 couldn't let it stay. Keep riding and posting. If you haven't gone to sheldon brown's webpage, you can get good info on repairs and older bikes.

It's always good to see some more members get hooked! We love our bikes here...Craigslist becomes your friend...thrift shops are your friends...

However, we need photos from both of you, no slacking!

Mason Red, add your Centurion info to the ongoing thread for the Centurion database when you have a chance, if you don't mind.

You too, adab!
