Just won a Shogun off ebay
Ok, so I'm thinking I overpaid for it($300 shipped to my door), but hey, it's gotta be better than anything I could by new these days for $300. It's a early 80s shogun, all original components. Tange champion #2 tubing. Shimano 600EX/Arabesque(pantographed)components all around. Sakae bars and stem, seatpost. Araya 27" rims w/shimano sealed hubs. The condition is absolutely amazing. KKT Pro II pedals with clips(w/leather). Gorgeous cream colored frame. It's been completely tuned up, new housing/cables, new tires, complete overhaul. So I won't have to sink a dime into it. I'll post some pictures of it soon. What really caught my eye was the cool shimano 600EX groupo...it's a very elegant looking group.
Was gonna buy a brooks B-17 honey colored saddle for it, even though I know it would be very out of place on a 100% japanese bike.

Looks very pretty except for that scratch on the headtube. Now all you have to do is get 300 dollars worth enjoyment from it and its paid for!
