Asshauler,

How'd you end up with Miji's Masi? that's quite a find.
next question where in DFW area are you? I'm in Frisco
and have you visited the Texas regional forum.

I've got my eye on a 73 Italian built prestige but doubt
I could afford it at the moment.

Marty

My buddy Kevin was great friends with the Reochs and he got most of her old bikes after she was hit and killed at White Rock back in the 90's. He ended up with all (or most) of her old stuff including her Colnago and matching Eisentraut road and track bikes but those aren't going anywhere. I was just in the right place at the right time for her old Masi and was the only person who expressed any interest in it. I was going to get it toally restored but the history of 1970's woman's racing and the national wins would be peeled of of that bike like the old cracked decals and it would never be the same again. I even thought about building it up like she had it but I can't find any pictures that close enough to see the parts. Did you know she rode to the hospital in labor with her first child? That's tough!

I'm in Plano, I haven't been to the reginal forum. I just stumbled on this site and joined.
