how much is my benotto worth

i am considering selling my 56 cm benotto 850 frame. its been powdercoated silver. new decals have been applied. the frame is strait, rust free, and looks great. it's a late 80's vintage with columbus zeta tubing.

its not a completely faithful reproduction as i used an earlier vintage decal because i liked the classic look of them

List it on ebay or pick a price. Without pics it is hard to judge or provide any input. You can use ebay's completed auction search as a rough guide.

For pic hosting? www.imageshack.us is easy to use and works well. no affiliation, etc.

I second that. The whole bike $150-250 on Cracklist, $450 if you're in NYC...

-Kurt

EDIT: Which I see you are - close enough, anyway. Fixie it and you might be able to get more

thanks for all of the feedback. it seems if i sold it here in new york i may be able to get what i put into it. it. i built up the frame out of very gently used or nos parts from the mid to late 80s. nice new nitto bar and stem and a brooks b17. only new parts are the wheels, brand new mavic aksiums that i bought for 100 and the cassette. the brakes are shimano 105 single pivots that sheldon brown likes so much. so i put a lot of thought into her. i guess i will keep it for now and eventually move the components to a custom steel frame of the future.

thanks for th feedback

I got a complete bike from ebay recently for $127 US, see thread "Benotto to be or not to be" Very nice condition and has the complete original late 70's Shimano 600 Arabesque gruppo. Yours looks nice in silver though! Good luck!
