diameter of schwinn world voyageur seat post?

The title says it all, I need a seatpost for my w.v. and am unsure of the proper diameter.

If you can find this info on google you are a better googler than I am.

Thanks

Hmmm.. What year? I'm familiar with the Voyageur, Voyageur SP, World, World Sport, World Tourist, and lots of other Schwinn models, but "World Voyageur" doesn't ring a bell?

EDIT - Never mind; I found it. It was a '73 built by Panasonic but I believe it was badged as a "World", not "Schwinn"...

Interesting ... the spec and parts manual calls for 26.6 (but that stuff has been known to be wrong).

(My '76 parts book shows the same thing)

Rick Cool posted this to CR in 2006 when talking about the "Hupelrider" seatpost:

-----
Every original World Voyageur I seen wes equipped with that seatpost.
Mine looks like:
26.6
Cr[symbol for 'pi']ep
Rider
Harvey Sachs once told me that he thought the characters were
Russian/Cyrillic; fairly good immitations of the Campy NR seatpost.

Could someone please post a close-up picture and the spec/name of the correct post? Looking for one for my 1973 Schwinn World Voyageur. Seems like I've seen several different types in searching all the zillions of World Voyageur threads here (not that I'm complaining: I've learned a ton).

Also looking for a correct "'World" head badge.

Thanks, Dick
