Suntour XC Comp Components

I have seemed to have acquired a NOS full early 90's Suntour XC Comp group (everything including chain, pedals, seatpost and headset, 8-speed). I have been trying to find a period appropriate frame to hang this stuff on, but short of a Paramount M90 (which is not an easy one to find), I am wondering what my other options are.

upon closer review, I think they are XC Pro, not XC comp.

I'm pretty sure I have the perfect frame/fork in my garage. Please just send me the group and I'll build it up. Of course, there would have to be an extensive "testing period" to make sure it all worked properly

How about a Bridgestone MB-1 or MB-2?

xc pro is the top of the line for suntour, of course. Ritchey, Moots, Ibis all come to mind. Fuso, Esientraut, and Kellog also made mountain bikes. A good steel bike frame from a top flight American builder can still be had for relatively cheap (compared to the road equivalents) and will probably be a better deal in the years to come. By the 90's, most everyone had the geometry straightened out, so you won't find a weird-riding one.

Check out the above item. This was a very nice frame from Trek that came stock with Suntour XC Pro. The guy actually tried selling it twice as a complete bike for around $500 with no takers so he parted it out. I believe it is like mint without a scratch on it. I wish I had not missed it cause it was in like new condition and I wanted it but he had already taken it apart when I got hold of him. This is a carbon and steel frame that will go real good with the group your talking about and it only has about a day left.
