    info input on casati frame

    Hi, any input on Casati as a builder in general and this frame and price price (casati gold line SPX $295)

    Any compariaon with a 89 Miyata 1400 (my current "nice" bike)

    Casati is a builder with a very good reputation, and I believe Casatis have some neat design touches that set them a bit apart from many of the "cookie cutter" Italian frames of the 80's. The frame on eBay is easily worth the opening bid price and more, though I'm not going to speculate on how much more.

    I ride a Gold Line SLX (earlier model than this). It's gorgeous (even with the ****ty re-paint) and rides like a dream. They do have awesome pantographs, and those seat stay caps are the hottest thing ever.
