    Schwinn Crosspoint

Can anybody tell me anything about a Schwinn Crosspoint? My sister has a couple of them in her garage that she wants to get rid of. They were in nice shape the last time is saw them. I remember lugged frames, flatbars, cantilevers and 700c wheels. I think they're from the early '90s.

Early cross/hybred bike by schwinn. Nice riding but not particularly collectable or valuable at this point in time. Roger

I'm not a flipper or a collector, so I don't care much about value or collectability.

    Is the frame chromoly?

Yes. It has a True Temper double-butted chrome-moly frame and Deore LX 21-speed drive train.

    Thanks Stan!

They look like pretty nice bikes to me. What got me thinking about it is that I'm going to be driving a U-Haul truck from her house to mine soon. The Schwinn dealer offered her $30 for them in trade when she bought a couple of aluminum comfort bikes. She says they probably have less than 100 miles on them and they look it.

Some of the parts don't match up with the catalog. I distinctly remember Ritchey bars and stems.
