Chain Tread War Tires
Does anybody know if there are any reproductions out there of those old Chain-link tread tires?
That old Columbia I have has WWII era chain tread tires on it, both of which are actually in fairly decent shape - except they have both formed terrible flat spots from sitting uninflated for probably decades. I was just wondering if anybody knows if there are any reproductions of these.

Doesn't look as if anyone can give you a hand here. Just for my own edification, have you got photos of the tyres in question?

I haven't tried oldroads yet.... b u t...
I was taking the tires off the wheels today. First and of marginal interest, the front tire was one of those old (horrible) single tube tires. Immediately after that I noticed what size these tires are. Would you believe 27X1.50"???
I think I may have seen it all now. I have no chance in hell of finding replacements for these do I?

I have no idea. I had assumed that the wheels would be 26 x 1.375 since that's a common size on old American lightweights. I have never seen or heard of a 27 x 1.50 size before.
