Hi zac, and welcome.

I've had good luck finding stuff like that at Loose Screws.

If it is the expansion BOLT thatsecures the body to the handlebar, might be tough, it is OEM unique.

Why do you think they are Super Record?

It would be rare for the mounting bolt to break; it is pulled into the expansion plug by using a 5mm Allen wrench inserted into the hex hole through the end of the mounting body after removing the lever.

The exploded view is scanned from a Schwinn service manual.

Which came first? The Suntour or the Campy barend shifter? I know that Suntour also branded theirs as "Schwinn Approved," and I've seen a set of Raleigh (Suntour) barends. I've just been currious about the development on the Campagnolo version. They do look very simular.

I'm glad you brought this up, Rev., as that exploded view looks like a dumbed-down Sun Tour barcon.
Since you're not a noted Campy basher we can proceed in an agreeable fashion.
In fact, I'd bet that the Sun Tour mounting bolt and expander plug would interchange.

The Suntours work better, but they sure are ugly compared to the Campys.

I have Campys on my chrome P-13 and SunTour (Schwinn Approved) on my P-15, and regular SunTours on everything else.

I prefer the SunTours! Ugly I can live with, they work so much better!

The sole pair I've encountered don't ratchet as smoothly as the Sun Tour shifters, but they're indexed switched to friction mode.
