social network for cyclists!

I have set up a new social network for cyclists called meandmybicycle. Quite a few of the people signing up are into vintage bikes and there's even a group for fans of vintage bikes. Anyway, have a look, it's at https://meandmybicycle.com.

Cheers,

Ben

I'm not a UK rider (yet) but joined anyway seeing how most of my bikes are from "The Realm"

Well, you might be riding here soon, but this new site takes so long to load I lost a lot of interest since.
Good idea lost in the execution, by the looks.

Still taking so long to load I'm not bothering any more.
Good idea lost in the implementation.

meandmybicycle - slow upload

Sorry to hear that it's slow. There has been some maintenance work going on at Ning (the proprietary network on which it's built) which could explain it. There has been quite a leap in numbers which would also be putting a strain on it as lots of people have been adding content. I will do my best to beef it up as it's a shame if people like you are put off by the load time!
Thanks for trying anyway,
Ben
