’98 Cannondale T700 - Ready to Tour Somewhere!

I may be pushing the boundaries of C and V with this one…but I’m picking up a 1998 (I think, based on the catalogs at vintagecannondale.com) Cannondale T700 today….I don’t have a touring bike in my modest collection, so I’m looking forward to this one. It appears to be in really good shape…it looks like it has a long wheelbase, so I hope it’s comfortable for me to ride. I’m thinking some fenders, rear rack and bag, perhaps a handlebar bag….come on Spring!

From what I’ve read, these bikes seem to be pretty well-regarded in the C and V world. Does anyone have one that could offer an opinion?

These are the sellers’ pics…more to come when I get the bike in my possession.

looks like a 98 to me and low miles. Still has its factory Conti's. Love mine. Its my daily driver.

I put 9 speed STI on it and a 26/36/48 crank in the pictures below. That 22/32/42 while great when fully loaded will have you spinning out empty. I dont have a pic since I put the LG bar bag on it. I really am like the bar bag as I strap my Iphone on it and can use the map my ride route guides and use the speaker phone and ipod features.
In Rando trim.

Daily driver trim.
