Behold the modern sport-touring bike! I updated my mid-80s Bradley (Reynolds 531C) with brifters, modernish wheels and gears with a little "low-power" to master the short but steep grades i run into along the bluffs. The result:

2 of these have been here before, but they have been overhauled and had some major changes, this however is the Premis' first appearance in this thread.
Return of the Turbo, new brifters etc.
Return of the Tempo with 105 brifters and some drivetrain changes.. the crankset is temporary it will soon be a full 105 bike again.
First appearance by the Premis here...
Funny enough, all it needed swapped to be in working order was the brifters for the brake levers and DT shifters.. the crankset is new to the bike as well and is necessitating a new FD as well.

Excuse the re-posted bike but following a small tweaking of saddle and bar position, and the latest tyre change, I've finally got the Ron Cooper 100% how I want it set up. Oh, and I found this wall!

Can't think of a better example of retro/modern perfection - love the orange highlights in the seatpost flutes!
Another beauty to add to the collection

I love the white accents on everything. I just hope you are better about keeping things white than I am.

We'll see! The saddle and bar tape have seen about 400 miles so far, but also a few wet wipes. I've learnt not to wipe grit off the tyres wearing my track mitts, and the bike won't see any bad weather. And I won't be wearing jeans.

The matching of the red, white, blue and gray is out of this world..
They should give this bike a whole page to itself..

Cheers folks!
Himespau - I don't know if you were referring to my bar tape but it's good old Bike Ribbon - dirt cheap and what I used to use back in the day. Some people aren't too keen on the plastic-y vinyl feel but with a pair of padded gloves it's fine for me, and does wipe clean pretty well. (To be honest, it looks even whiter here than it really is due to over-exposed photo in the sun.)

Ah yeah, the white bike ribbon probably does wipe a lot cleaner than a more porous tape like the ones I use. That might do it.
