LOOP7531 scamming bike e-bay

loop7531 is at it again, trying to sell a bike on e-bay item # 110190438930 . They tried to sell a bike a few days ago that they stole the pictures off this forum. We bid it way up and they figured it out and canceled the auction. Not sure if this one is fake but it probably is.

Ha!

I asked if my (fictional) brother in nearby Idaho could pick it up and pay for it in person.

From: Peter Deli <loop1357@yahoo.com>

im not home right now im in california and i took the
bicycle down with me, its been all ready disembled and
boxed up. i brought it down for a potetial buyer in
sanfrancisco where i got the bicycle with other items
at an estate auction sale.
the buyer skipped out on me though. im currently in
fresno visiting family and wont be home in a few weeks
or so. the winning bidder if so will have the bicycle
shipped from fresno not oregon and a payment by money
order or cashier check will only be excepted, i have a
monthly limit on my paypal account for receiving any
funds, its a 500.00 limit
and i maxed it all ready. so good luck bidding.

So, now someone needs to email and claim they live in Fresno, and ask for local pickup....

Wait until the last few seconds of the auction, and then bid it up to $25,000 or so, so the scammer can't retract the auction - thereby leaving him a nice little Christmas present of a big, honkin' percentage fee slapped on his credit card by eBay.

That'll discourage him, not to mention make him **** in his pants.

I'll tell you what: this jerk sounds an awful lot like this guy Chris (Reznick?), I can't recall his last name,
from Seattle that scammed me and several others out of bike stuff a few years back. He eventually moved to Oregon to get away from the law, and as I recall, he came from San Francisco.
I would be very reticent to buy anything from this guy.

We aren't! This is the third or fourth time that this person has stolen photos of nice bikes and tried to pry money out of people.

You know, I could throw around a few scripture verses about such behavior--- but I won't. Great plan!

So who's going to create the fake ID? Kurt and Margaret? Ha! Let's see, Kurt's new ebay ID could be "Miami Vice" and Margaret could be "Hill Street Blues." Start your bidding war from either side of the country and just imagine the guy weeping. Good luck you two!

... but then aren't you required to pay for it? No seriously, aren't you?

Or are you banking on, if he takes action you can counter with the evidence of where the bike really is?

I wasn't a smartazz... but sent him a message just to fill his box a little more. Asked for some specific pictures

"Rumor has it you are a thieving turd. Rumor has it you are in Fresno CA...Can I come see the bike? Or are you going to admit you are a fraud? We might bid the bicycle up to 1 million dollars just to piss you off. You really need to knock this **** off!"

I sent this message. With any luck this guy will quit before he goes to prision.

I wouldn't try it unless I knew quite well that it could be done without trace, which would probably be best done through the use of a poorly structured wireless internet cafe as one's access point.

Malicious, ain't it? I'm not going to be the one to implement it.

I think he would start figuring out someone's onto him. Those are great usernames (especially the Hill Street Blues ).

I'm wondering when he's going to change his eBay name and try to elude us. Ha!

ok we need to do this over a biding site like auction steeler. One person go $20,000 at 5 seconds and another go $25000 with 3 seconds. No more emails to him. Just lay low and wait til you see the whites of his eyes.
