Well, y'know, this site surely has more than its fair share of Peugeotphiles, eh?
Anyway, here's some pickies of a new-to-moi PSV10. L'annee 1983 je pense. Bought at a local sports store here in noozeeland for USD80 last week. Everything's original apart from the seat (although I'm not sure about the Modolo brakes). Rides beautifully. Been looking for something like this for three years. It's a long story involving an original late 70s PX10 dumped on the footpath discovered by the bus shelters over the road from the Gare de Lyon on Rue de Bercy in August '05, and a pang of Antipodean conscience that saw me WALK PAST IT in the full knowledge it'd be in a skip - or the Seine- by nightfall. Sigh...
Now where was I? Oh yeah, the PSV10. The world is now back to rights. And as a bonus I found a bog-standard mixte for USD15 the week before. Now it's the house hotrod (see pic).
Vive la France mes Amis! Jeff.

I just got my psv10 ('82) last week and was able to take it on a 20 mile ride. Great bike, very fast and light. It is the perfect companion for my '80 pkn10.

Miami Jim - took your advice and checked the serial number on the stem - 9/85. By the time to part was finally used it was probably 1986. Add another 2 or 3 months (sea freight France - NZ) and it woulod have been new to someone in mid-86.
Luis - I saw your psv on your thread. Snap! Yeah, it's a nice ride. Mine's a bit long in the stem but the bike's pretty much original and I kinda hate the idea of swapping the ATAX for a Cinelli...

Wish i could ride mine but it's snowing and the windchill is 18F. It feels like it's one pound lighter than my LeMond 853.
