    Macy's Goes Retro Raleigh

As shown on the front cover of the Macy's advertising insert in today's Boston Globe: Several things to note:

--No shifter cable, thus permanent third/high gear for building up powerful legs to haul around purchased holiday items.
--A younger, hip male perfectly at ease riding a women's frame.
    --Black bikes are cool.

Apparently you don't even need legs to power it, it just glides on its own. Either that or the rider is about to float away with all those balloons.

He's using the balloons and foot-flinging as desperate measures to try and stop on steel rims in snow

I will give them points for having the tracks in the snow coming down the hill.

I'm guessing a men's bike would have been too 'dangerous' for this advertising stunt?!

My response would have been something along the lines of: "Does your bike have computer controlled suspension? Then shut your piehole, this baby is from the future!"

Nah man, Im FRED, and damn proud of it!
You see, their morals, their code...it's a bad joke, dropped at the first sign of trouble. They're only as good as the world allows them to be. I'll show you. When the chips are down, these...These "civilized" people...they'll eat each other. See, I'm not a monster. I'm just ahead of the curve
