where to order brake lever parts - clamp & ferrule

OTHER THAN EBAY, where can I order brake lever parts for this type of lever. I need the c-clamp and a brake ferrule.

The C-clamp, not sure what the technical term is, is the seperate piece that clamps over the handlebar and attaches to the lever. the brake ferrule comes between the brake cable housing and the brake lever. These vintage lever take a smaller size diameter ferrule than the modern day brake lever.

I'll update the post when i get home with pictures of the actual lever.

I'm not sure what you mean by c-clamp. I suspect it might not be clear to others either. Might help to give a little more explanation - and it wouldn't hurt to mention what type of lever that is too. :)

If by ferrule, you mean the end that fits over the end of the cable where it seats in the lever, or at the caliper, I have a whole bottle of those that I bought from Nashbar. They might look suspiciously shiny with those levers, but if you want a couple, PM me, and I'll be glad to send a couple on to you.

Slightly different ones re fit between Dia Compe and Shimano...In my experience.

Here is the vintage lever compared against a BMX brake lever's barrel adjuster. As you can see, a modern day ferule will not fit nor work with the vintage lever. The last picture is of a universal ferrule installed onto the vintage lever.

I need to find the c-clamp portion of the brake and a ferrule that will fit in these vintage levers.

-- update --

i just found a bag of the ferrules at BikeStop:
Dia-Compe 92 Steel Brake Lever End Button, for tourist levers, 5.0mm ID, Bag of 10

I think you might be faced with buying a whole lever and using the clamp. Perhaps this one:

or
