Renewing White-wall Tires

I have been wanting to replace the grungy-looking stock white walls that my Marley Abyssinia cruiser came with. It's a great bike, but it looked nasty from the get-go. It would cost me at least $20 to get a new set of tires, but what would I do with the old ones that are only flawed cosmetically? Is there any way to restore (or improve) my white walls?

Look for Westley's Bleche-Wite.

Keep it off of aluminum and paint.
