24.2 mm seat post
I apologize for the cross-post with Bicycle Mechanics.

I need a 24.2 mm seat post. The tandem it's needed for is neither classic nor vintage, but I read that some old French bikes used this size. Anyone have any idea where I can find one?

I have a 70's Peugeot frame and a complete UO-8 from 1977 or 78, they both have 21.8 (approximate). I checked several other odd ball bikes I have and all my spare seat posts, nothing in the 24 approximate range. How about a vintage freindly LBS?

Thanks for looking really appreciate it. And thanks for the tip; in town there are four bike shops, I can think of one that may have some vintage stuff in the attic, I'll check. Portland isn't too far away and they have tons of shops.
