Those look fantastic. Was that a hand polish or did you use a power buffer or some sort? My Shimano hubs got a polish, but didn't come out anywhere close to that nice. Those are going to look fantastic when they get laced up.

P.S. - can I get some closer shots and showing the engraving and such for Velobase?

Sweet! They look great. Always had a soft spot for high flange hubs. They look so right.
How much did those puppies set you back?
I'd love to find an affordable NOS set of highs.
I was just giving my 32 year old Normandy a polishing session with Simichrome yesterday. How 'bout that!

$ 119.00 a real good bit more than I wanted to pay. I looked for some Hi flange dura ace but no luck and I have had good luck with this seller before. I used Mothers aluminum polish and a soft towel. I think I'll use a powerbuffer on them before I lace them up. Those Normandys look great and when you are going really fast nobody can see if there are any imperfections anyway. I'll try some closer shots for velobase. Can I upload pictures from photobucket to Velobase? If so do I use the jpg or html code from the picture?

You can upload from your computer to velobase, I haven't set it up to pull from an online host (yet).

Here's the Shimano hubs I laced up earlier this year to some Araya 27x1" rims:

Model Number HC-110 as far as I've been able to find out. About the best polish I could do without really going at it.
