Bicycle Christmas Cards
There has been a tradition of featuring bicycles on Christmas Cards for over a century now.
I decided to take this opportunity to offer up this one as my Holiday gift
to all of you kind and helpful C&V list members.
If anyone is so inclined
I'd love to see some of your own Holiday Bicycle Cards!
Yes, I do seek them out to send each year
and I suspect I'm not alone.
So... to everyone...
~ Merry Christmas ! ~
This is a scan from an actual Christmas Post Card I had picked up several years ago.
The original had been circulated and the postmark is dated December 1907.
Notice in the lower right of the image there is also a faint inscription:
"Copyright 1907 by H. I. Robbins, Boston"
This image had transferred quite neatly onto 4 x 6 photo paper
so I was able to pass on a 100 year old Bicycle card -
reprinted and then attached onto to my own card template.
Amazing to think that 100 years have now passed since this card was first mailed
There is still one old fool riding his bike through this Christmas season.
I'm proud to be that man!
Cheers!
Bob

Well, a bit of tailoring would take care of that. But he's definitely got the messenger bag down.
I really need to see if I can find something like this and add to stronglight's thread.
