https://www.classicrendezvous.com/France/Jeunet.htm

the brand is jeunet and they made everything from UO-8 quality up to 531 DB full campagnolo outfits. I don't think they have much if any racing heritage.

There is one on ebay currently which I believe is the model 620, My guess is straight gauge high carbon steel or hi-tensile. If there is any chromoly in it, it's the main tubes and they would probably be straight gauge. Mostly speculation on my part. I have a 630 and the craftsmanship is the sloppiest I have ever seen. It's my beater.

There was also a french model that came with the best of everything that france had to offer, aside from the reynolds 531 frame.

I had one of those in 1974. It was called the Professionnel and in addition to the full Reynolds 531 butted tubeset was equipped with Huret Jubilee derailleurs, TA Pro cranks, Mafac 2000 brakes, Ideale 2000 saddle and Normandy Competiton hubs hubs laced to Mavic Hour Record rims. I still have most of the major components. It was typical of French manufacturing of the era - functional but not great cosmetically. The bicycle was very very light but suffered from too much frame flex for my liking, which I attributed to the smaller diameter metric tubing.

My '75 is odd. The headset it french threaded but it takes a 22.2mm stem no problem, and the BB is italian, The seatpost is 26.6 which indicates metric. So it seems to be all over the place in terms of standards.

There is always the possibility that the previous owner reamed the steering column and re-tapped the bottom bracket to make functional with more readily available components.

Probably, I do have the original bill of sale. And I got it from the original owner as a frame with headset. He gave me a miche BB and the original TA pro-5-vis cranks... I have to doubt that the Miche was original and guess that maybe it was re-tapped at some point when the BB was replaced. It's pretty likely since it was repainted and had braze-ons added in the mid 80s that modification like that were done.
