Giant "Allegre" -- original components?

Picked up this decent bike for little people. Seems as though there were a lot of them made. Not sure what year. Any ideas?

Not really my size or style (at least 10 years too new), so I plan to flip. Trying to figure out if the wheels and STI brifters are an upgrade ... and what's with this saddle?

Pearly white lugged 3-butted cro-mo, little person size, paint in nice condition.

Stock-seeming components: are Suntour GPX brakes, cranks and FD. Suntour rings (52-40something).

Weird-seeming parts are:

Shimano 600 hubs (front says "HB 6400") laced to Mavic Open 4 CD rims with straight-gauge spokes and Conti Super Sport gumwall tires (the tires are on the rims, not laced to the hub ).

Hyperglide Cassette (13-14-15-17-19-21).

Shimano RSX STIs.

Shimano RX100 RD.

Highly incongruous San Marco Regal faux-leather (or maybe real) saddle with copper-plated rails and "rivets."

Overall, it's a nice little bike, thought not quite as light as one might think or wish. Are there any of these components that you'd sell separately?

Huh? I have one probably newer (1995ish) has Suntour SL drivetrain. These came with a gruppo.
Maybe nothing is original on yours, it's a weird assortment of parts.
