Finally got out for a weekend ride
After a visit from Kelly (KPUG505) here on the forum to drop a fork off for me to try on the Volare my wife and I got out for a 10 mile cruise, so nice to blow off a bit of winter stink after being cooped up for so long. I hate my trainer so I haven't been on it much this winter. We wanted to get out yesterday but had to do the pruning routine on all the shrubs around the house and I was so surprised to have two days in a row where we could get out. We didn't ride any of the old bikes we took out our Specialized hybrids (very comfortable rides) got to work up a bit of a sweat and now I'm making some chili. I forgot the numbers on the tange fork Kelly brought over and its in the basement so I'll post some questions about it later on. Anyway it was a good day.

I was able to get out yesterday for a similar distance. Since before Christmas, this annoying neck/shoulder/back thing has kept me off of two wheels and often in a great deal of pain. It sure felt good to be out riding again, and hard to fight the temptation to overdo it.
Start slowly....slowly....

Sounds like an awesome day, man.
Up here in Sweden, I'm estimating the start of the riding season is about two months away. Can't wait. Riding stationary is just not that much fun.
